Bill Duffy and Tony Planos Promoted to Vice President Roles
Houston, TX, July 16, 2013 – Evolve Partners, a global implementation-focused consulting firm that helps energy and process industry clients implement strategic business improvement programs, is pleased to announce the promotions of Tony Planos and Bill Duffy to Vice President. They will both continue to hold positions on the Executive Leadership Team, which drives Evolve’s business strategy and operations.
Bill Duffy has delivered client programs, cultivated executive relationships, mentored junior members of the organization and supported thought leadership efforts since he joined Evolve in August 2008. Over the past five years, he has led a variety of programs in Offshore / Gulf of Mexico to Shale operations in Marcellus as well as downstream programs in North America. He thrives on the collegial, family-like atmosphere at the firm, and strives to promote this culture further. Before joining Evolve, Bill was a Senior Manager with BearingPoint, a Project Manager with Celerant Consulting and a Business Unit Manager at Illinois Tool Works. He earned his MBA from Chicago’s Loyola University and his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University.
Since joining Evolve Partners in April 2008, Tony Planos has led numerous programs focusing on performance improvement, while driving the firm’s relationships with a number of major conventional and unconventional oil & gas clients from across North America. Prior to joining Evolve, Tony led the Services Division of IBM’s Central American and Caribbean business. Tony typically focuses on creating a team of high performing clients to sharpen their skills and competencies through the implementation of Lean-type programs; realizing a step-change improvement in the way they think, act, decide and behave towards continuous improvement. Tony has lived in over 15 different places through his lifetime and mastered five different languages. He received his BSIE and an MBA from Lehigh University with a concentration on Operations Research and Applied Mathematics.
