Marcus Evans Petrochemical and Refining Summit
Congratulations to David Reed, Director, Plant Maintenance, Eastman Chemical Company who was invited to share his journey to Maintenance Excellence at the recent Marcus Evans Petrochemical & Refining Summit 2017. David talked about his team’s success and learnings as they embarked on a program to improve maintenance and build a partnership between maintenance and operations. They chose to work with Evolve Partners to develop and implement a new way of working including, crafting a new vision, facilitating and engaging their work force to create a plan for change, coaching to accelerate their implementation and bringing thought leadership and critical models to support that change. Ultimately, they realized the importance of developing their people’s capabilities in order to manage and sustain the improved processes. The program delivered significant cost and reliability benefits, and set them up for ongoing improvement.
